Start your journey

Join your children, Giselle the chicken and her friend Saani on a fascinating journey through the world of the Alps, starting either from the Hornberg up to the Rinderberg or starting at the Rinderberg and walking down to the Hornberg. Interactive stations await you along the way, where you and your children can learn all about life on the Alps.

Entering the valley station

At the valley station you can purchase a small booklet for each child, which will guide you through the adventure trail. Exciting puzzles are waiting to be solved at each station. These questions have been carefully selected to help you learn more about nature and the inhabitants of the Alps in a fun way. The answer to the riddles leads to a special surprise for the little explorers.

Souvenir photo

At the first and last stations, there are cosy seating areas that are perfect for a short break. Take this opportunity to take a unique souvenir photo of your alpine adventure. You can later share this photo with your friends and the world to capture the wonderful experiences and impressions of your day. A souvenir photo like this is a great way to cherish the special moments of this fascinating journey through the Alps.

Fünfliber hiking day

Experience a guided hike with exciting insights into the Alpenzauberweg Trail!

Details:

Meeting point: 9:30 am at the Horneggli valley station, Schönried
Hike: Duration approx. 2:30h
Distance: approx. 6.0 km
Costs: Excluding CHF 5 for the mountain railroads - hike incl. packed lunch free of charge
Arrival at the Rinderberg: approx. 12:30 pm, just in time for the exuberant celebration and inauguration

Important notes:

Appropriate hiking clothing and footwear required
Ride to Horneggli on the chairlift for just five francs
Packed lunch included

Children: Only when accompanied by an adult
