The mountain railways between Schönried's local mountain Horneggli and the Rinderberg above Zweisimmen provide access to the largest skiing and hiking area in the Destination. Attractive ridge and high-altitude hikes in summer and over 105 km of ski runs and three toboggan runs in winter connect Schönried, Saanenmöser, Zweisimmen and St. Stephan. At the Rinderberg mountain station, an exciting facade playground & Olga's cowshed await children who love to move around. In winter, numerous restaurants and ski bars await discovery.

The ski area between the Eggli and La Videmanette is especially suitable for connoisseurs. The focus is not on the number of kilometres of slopes. Rather, you can enjoy the peace and quiet and the impressive landscape with its perfectly groomed pistes. Thanks to the modern cable cars and chair lift, winter sports enthusiasts can reach the ski area quickly and comfortably. Various restaurants and bars along the pistes invite you to enjoy yourself after your run.

Gstaad's local mountain Wispile not only attracts skiers in winter with its beautiful pistes and panoramic views. It also offers an adventurous toboggan run down to Gsteig. And it's got it all! Before the fast run on runners starts the sledge has to be pulled about 40 minutes to the start. The easy hike leads along a beautiful panoramic path along the ridge. As "compensation" you can see an impressive view of the Spitzhorn a fore peak of the Wildhorn. The ski lifts Zückerli and Rüti which are included in the Saani's trial ski ticket are ideal for families who want to practice their first turns on the easy ski slopes.

On the Wasserngrat, there are a total of three pistes of different levels of difficulty. The two easier slopes are also suitable for families. However, beginners should keep their hands off the black marked slope, because it's a tough one: the Tiger Run is considered the steepest piste in the Saanenland. It is therefore a highly enjoyable challenge for experienced skiers with good skiing technique and sufficient physical condition. If you also enjoy snowshoe hiking, we have the perfect tour for you. Feel free to check it out!

The Heiti and Lauenen ski lifts offer family fun on natural snow slopes according to the motto "small but nice". While the young ones let off steam on the piste or in the powder snow or build "great kickers" themselves, mum and dad can enjoy themselves in the nearby catering establishments.
