The Videmanette mountain restaurant is located at an altitude of 2,200 metres between the Rübli and Videmanette and offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the Vaud and Bernese Alps.

With its 150 indoor and 100 outdoor seats, it is ideal for relaxed meals in a cosy atmosphere, whether in the restaurant or on the large terrace. The self-service menu allows guests to choose the delicious food and drinks they want and enjoy the marvellous view in peace and quiet.

The Videmanette area in Rougemont is a well-known hotspot for both climbers and hikers.

One of the routes there is particularly beginner-friendly and is ideal for families. This route offers more hiking passages than climbing sections and starts just 5 minutes from the end station of the Rougemont - La Videmanette gondola lift.

The start of the route includes an easy, steep climbing section that also leads through a chimney. The last section to the summit of the Rubli, which is 2285 metres above sea level, is covered on foot. Once at the top, a breathtaking view of the Alps and the Pays-d'Enhaut opens up.

The route runs along the same path there and back, making it easy to plan.
